Associate HR Manager, Nick Knuffman-Brewer, is all about making HR a positive employee experience for Simantelites. After spending nearly 17 years in retail, the principles of customer service are ingrained in him – be kind, be positive, listen, help get answers and follow up. To him, employees are his customers and he’s dedicated to connecting with and serving them. Oftentimes people think of HR folks as intimidating rule enforcers but Nick believes HR should be viewed as a partner and a trusted resource. It’s easy to see he enjoys building those relationships. That’s why for his Point of Pride he chose creating a welcoming employee experience for Simantelites.

Nick’s role was recently added to the administration department to support the agency’s steady growth. He facilitates the onboarding process to ensure it’s a great employee experience while also keeping an eye out for ways to continually improve efficiencies, develops proactive strategies and programs, supports benefits administration and so much more.

Nick loves people and knows that sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.
