We’re proud to announce we won a Gold Telly Award in the non-broadcast, general charitable category for our video produced about the The Autism Collective.
Easterseals of Central Illinois had a vision of building a collaborative care model for autism so families can have a seamless experience when navigating what can be an overwhelming and often complex process.
The Autism Collective initiative would coordinate numerous resources when it comes to doctors, therapists, teachers and staff, all with the goal of providing expert and coordinated care that gives seamless support to children with autism and their families.
Simantel produced a video that showcased at the 2016 Easterseals Tribute dinner to give a glimpse of the initiative. This was a special honor as we worked together with families to not only capture their journey when given an autism diagnosis, but to demonstrate the need for change to truly make a difference in their lives.
This vision will now become a reality as both Easterseals Central Illinois and OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois became founding members of this transformative initiative soon to be incorporated as The Autism Collective.
This year there was a total of 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents. Simantel is one of the only two gold winners in this category.
