Simantel team members were proud to take part in the unveiling of Caterpillar’s new Customer Lifecycle Support Experience at the Edwards Training Center in Edwards, Ill., on Monday, March 9.

From concept to completion, Simantel collaborated with Caterpillar on every aspect of the display, including floor plans, staging design, wall graphics, video content and more. The new experience showcases Cat’s Customer Lifecycle Options focusing on four main areas: Dealer Parts Counter, Fleet Monitoring Center, Job Site and Cat Dealer Shop.

Creatively, the team set out to use life-like environments to help the audience experience what Cat Dealer Support offers. Because portions of the audience members will be customers, it was important to use imagery and messaging to show how these services can improve their business. The use of technology — including touchscreens and projectors — keeps the space flexible and updateable for any adjustments in the future.

The room was completed just in time for Cat Dealer Spring Training, a program where the training center plays host to 250 members of Cat Dealer’s sales force for a month of instruction. During that time, the new space will be used for training, study and discussion. After that program is completed, an official ribbon-cutting event will commemorate the new display.

Between 15,000 and 20,000 Caterpillar dealers, key customers and employees are expected to visit this display each year.
