  • Leads Simantel’s financial strategy, helping shape how the agency plans, invests and grows 
  • Oversees the accounting department and works on all financial aspects of the agency, including establishing and maintaining the company’s accounting principles, practices, procedures and initiatives 
  • With day-to-day financial oversight and budget management responsibilities, Chrissie works closely with ownership and executive team members to provide analysis and recommendations
  • Guides forecasting and financial performance, helping the agency operate with clarity and confidence 
  • Builds and evolves financial systems and processes that support efficiency and scalability 
  • Joined Simantel in 2010 as a staff accountant and has held multiple positions within accounting while working her way up to chief financial officer

Accounting is in Chrissie’s DNA. In high school, she started bookkeeping for her father’s family business (a lumber company founded in 1904 by her great-grandfather that is still going strong today!) She takes after her grandmother who, at the age of 88, retired as bookkeeper at the company. Chrissie’s mom is also an accountant who has worked in bookkeeping for her entire career. Like grandmother, like mother, like daughter.
