- Makenzie mentors and trains new project planners, tees up the account planning leaders for success by setting up processes and rolls up her sleeves and digs into the work as a lead on larger projects
- Started at Simantel in 2016 as a temp project manager and has worked her way up the ranks of the management team to her current role as director of project planning
- Attended St. Ambrose University and graduated with a bachelor’s in public relations and strategic communications and multiple minors in marketing, management and organization leadership
- Makenzie is an outdoorsy girl who grew up hunting, fishing…and dancing. She danced growing up and joined the competitive dance team in college.
- If she’s not at Simantel you can find her enjoying the outdoors or at a basketball game cheering on the team her husband coaches
- Loves to root, root, root for the Cubbies and plans to pass on the fandom to her toddler son, Lee
