Who can say no to a sweet, innocent child? Hardly anyone! At least that was our hope as we developed the concept of the joint capital campaign for The Peoria PlayHouse and The Peoria Zoo—“Power of Play.”
The new children’s museum will be located right next door to The Peoria Zoo, so it made perfect sense to join forces to raise the necessary funds for the construction of the museum and the addition to the zoo.
Since kids are at the center of both these organizations (and kids can be relentless in asking for what they want) the plan was simple: to let their voice be heard. So take a listen, and be prepared to make a donation– our spokesperson is pretty persuasive!
