Members of our agency recently attended the Bauma tradeshow, (held in Munich, Germany) for business, but we asked them to share some of their favorite European moments outside of the show:

“One night, we stumbled upon an old-fashioned lithography shop where the elderly owner was nice enough to invite us in and give us a crash course of the fine art of putting ink to stone,“ said Tim Leesman, Director of Client Services.

“I love food and we sampled more than our fair share of delicious local cuisine,” said Susie Ketterer, Principal. “That was definitely one of the added perks of the trip!”

“One afternoon we ended up in the Marienplatz (St. Mary’s Square – kind of like the main town square) and saw the ‘new’ City Hall building (Neues Rathaus) that was built in the late 1800s,” shared Kelly Grimm, Senior Account Manager. “There was a sense of rich history and the buildings and architecture were truly awe-inspiring.”

“After much arm-twisting we were convinced to visit the HofBrauHaus to hoist a few mugs of Weissbier,” said Creative Director Chris Moehn. “It was okay, I guess.”

Uh-huh, sure, Chris … “arm-twisting” and just “okay.” But we appreciate you trying not to rub it in!
