Cutting-edge trade shows offer brands a rare opportunity to directly communicate with customers. That’s why creating engaging trade show experiences is a leading capability here at Simantel.
When Caterpillar asked us to help concept, design and execute their exhibit space at the 2015 International Exhibition of Equipment Construction & Mining (M&T Expo) in São Paulo, Brazil, we jumped right in. We partnered with the client team and Sotreq, the local Cat dealer, to create an experience that focused on integrated technology—a message that hits home for the construction industry.
The trade show’s location proved particularly useful for Caterpillar.
“It was crucial to have a strong presence at the M&T Expo in Brazil. São Paulo is an economic hub for the region, and reaching that audience with our technology message is critical for further growth in South America,” says Diane Jackson of Caterpillar’s Global Trade Show and Exhibit Services.
The exhibit layout and design was modeled after the 2014 CONEXPO floor plan to create a familiar atmosphere for attendees. Grupo 361, an AMIN partner in that region, provided us with boots-on-the-ground information and regional know-how that helped us adjust content and graphics to better fit the targeted audience, while still staying true to the overarching Caterpillar message. Together, we leveraged our experience from previous CONEXPO, MINExpo and Bauma projects to bring the entire concept to life.
The exhibit was quite the display of technology, and we were happy to help Caterpillar continue its tradition of trade show success.
